Rubber valve seat has good elasticity and sealing, can adapt to a certain degree of deformation, in the low-pressure, room temperature environment is widely used. 

PTFE valve seat has excellent corrosion resistance, can resist almost all chemical media, and low friction coefficient, light operation. 

Metal valve seat such as stainless steel seat, high strength, high temperature and corrosion resistance, suitable for high temperature and high pressure working conditions.


Tungsten carbide valve seats, on the other hand, stand out among the many valve seat materials with their excellent performance. Cemented carbide is a kind of alloy material made of hard compounds of refractory metals and bonded metals through powder metallurgy process.

Cemented carbide valve seats have extremely high hardness and strength. It can withstand high pressure and high impact, and is not easy to wear and deform, greatly extending the service life of the valve. In harsh working environments, such as fluids containing solid particles, the carbide valve seat can still maintain good sealing performance. Its corrosion resistance is also excellent. In addition, the carbide valve seat also has good high temperature resistance. Under high temperature environment, it will not soften or lose strength, ensuring the normal operation of the valve. Its thermal stability makes it widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure steam systems, petrochemical and other fields.


However, carbide valve seats are not without their drawbacks. Its manufacturing cost is relatively high and the processing process is complicated. However, considering its excellent performance and long service life, carbide valve seats are still the preferred choice in some critical industrial fields.
